If he couldn’t afford corrective counseling then a prescription for Wellbutrin would solve one problem but would add another. Taking Wellbutrin stops all ejaculations but not the good feelings. He could last forever.
And under a Dr.s supervision he could go off that medication long enough to have some fun himself.

the character in the poem needs to find resolution so the poem is not just a lament but a turning point, as a song writer once told me sad don't sell, but it does sell Paxil etc.

Depression can either lower or significantly raise sex drive. Also, I think your advice is potentially dangerous. You suggest herbs & teas. What if someone is already taking Paxil (a common anti-depressant) and they take your advice and consume a tea or herb supplement that contains St. John's Wort? That combination can be LETHAL.

There is a drug called flibanserin that is basically the female viagra. However, it is just now being resubmitted for approval by the FDA because it interfered with the ability to drive, among other things. The key difference between flibanserin and viagra is that flibanserin works on the central nervous system rather than the autonomic nervous system.
